PACK 'N PLAY

Let me tell you about the only Amazon review I’ve ever written.

We were preparing to take our six month old daughter to the mountains for Thanksgiving week and I was obsessed with finding the perfect Pack ‘n Play. I read all the mommy blogs, I watched all the Instagram stories, I read all of the reviews - the whole world was telling me that the Newton Baby Travel Crib and Play Yard was the best in the business. ALLEGEDLY, it was compact, lightweight, easy to put up and break down. I knew I wanted something that wouldn’t take up too much room in the car and I could set up without my husband, so, I dropped the $300.

It was a a FAIL. I felt deceived. This thing was massive, heavy, and impossible to set up on my own. It took me and my husband together over 20 minutes to break it down! Want to know what’s stressful? Breaking down a pack and play at 7 am when you’re trying to hit the road and your baby is screaming in the back ground. Yea, it’s a no from me. We shipped that Godforsaken thing back to where it came from and I left the one and only review I’ve ever written to warn everyone away from this rage inducing product.

When Christmas came around, I pulled out the Pack ‘n Play a family friend had generously handed down to us - the Graco Pack ‘n Play Care Suite - and it was perfect. It broke down to half the size of the Newton Play Yard and I could easily do it on my own. It was also lightweight and easy enough that my parents and in-laws could handle it on their own.

Graco Pack ‘n Play Care Suite also comes with the bassinet and changing table components. By the time I used it for the first time, we didn’t need those attachments; but, they are going to come in so handy with Baby #2.
